Have you seen them together in person? My only fear would be that they would be too similar but not the same color, since websites don’t always do a great job of showing colors accurately.

Maybe it’s just my pet peeve (I’m by no means fashionable :D) but I don’t like when a dress and the accessories look like they’re trying to be the same color, but are a shade off … I was at a wedding a month ago where the bridesmaids were in purple and they all had mismatched purple shoes and it bugged me that their dresses were all the same color but the shoes were all different colors, and none were the same color as the dresses, even though they were all really close to the same shade.

I love the textures/styles together though, and if they’re both true to color, think they’ll look great!

@ddw: I agree with you about not being too matchy, but those shoes don’t look lilac to me they look silver or a silvery taupe. But maybe my screen coloring is different than yours. If they are lilac I agree though that a dress very close to the same color might look a bit odd.

So I love shoes, but I would really hate to have to buy shoes that someone else picks out. I have problems with shoes not being comfy enough or high enough. Could you just give bms a style to choose?

@kala_way: that’s my worry – on my monitor they look identical, but I don’t think my monitor is calibrated well (since I’m at work, not home, and can’t control these things myself, haha)

@Button: if you love the shoes but aren’t 100% decided on the dress, you could always order the shoes and then choose your dress colors around what matches them once they come in.

I think they’re gorgeous and will match the dress very well.

I’d just be concerned about the practicality of them. You obviously know your girls and I don’t, but there is no way in hell I could walk in those, nor would my ankles stay in them! How I wish I could…

But I would just make sure you talk to the girls individually and ask them if they have any concerns with the shoes. If they’re not happy with the dress, then can suck it up and get over it, but if the shoe doesn’t fit then they won’t even make it down the aisle!

The shoes are beautiful, but i don’t love nude (warm) and smokey lavender (cool) as a combo.  I’d make sure that all of your girls will be comfortable and willing to rock platform heels all night, even if you pay for them.  One of my BMs had to borrow a pair of mine b/c her sandals broke just before the ceremony.  She could barely walk down the aisle.
