I think that is a great idea – – I also think your inspiration board is fantastic and you did a smart thing by sending it to you bm’s. Even after your Maid/Matron of Honor saw the inspiration board she still wasn’t down with it – – I don’t see how she wasn’t…I think a them picking their own she in any shade of pink is brilliant. Gosh I can’t even begin to think of all the amazing shoe photos, haahaahaa

I personally like the idea of different style shoes with the same shade of pink.  I really like the “brighter/hot” pinks with navy more than a pastel pink.  I think it also depends on how many Bridesmaid or Best Man you are having.  For example, if there are 6 Bridesmaid or Best Man and 5 of them end of picking a hot pink and 1 picks pastel pink, it might stand out.

I really like the inspiration board you put together!

We may have the same wedding colors. Navy and pink? 🙂

I love your idea!  I think all different shades would look awesome so long as no one does fluorescent pink (think highlighter) or super pale baby pink.

I love it! It sounds like such a headache to try and corral different style of shoes, presumably from a same designer that they can all agree on, in the same exact shade.

I run into a lot of people who are stuck on the idea that the bridal party has to look like clones or else it won’t “work”. At the end of the day….no one except the bride and BMs will notice or care if there are differences.

I wouldn’t worry about it at all.  It’s not like every shade of pink you will be using in your wedding will be the exact same.  It will give the girls a chance to show their own personality.

I think the different pinks will be awesome! Since I went with a long dress, I told my BMs to wear whatever color they want!

I like the idea.  I think it will look awesome and so original.  Your Maid/Matron of Honor is probably a person who likes cohesion, symmetry, matching.  But sometimes people go too far with that (in my opinion).  Thinking outside the box is a good thing! 🙂

I think it will look great, especially if there are a couple of different shades of pink flowers in their bouquets.
