I got mine from their actual NY location and it was great.  We even saved on shipping because we were able to pick them up directly.  2nd time I’ve used them, no complaints!

@ms.sara:  I’m so glad they came in! I ordered mine from there mid-november and I was really nervous about them coming in to australia, glad a fellow aussie had a good experience!

Hopefully be getting mine in a few weeks then, YAY!

I am having a HORRIBLE experience with them! I just got my dresses in last week, after ordering them Nov 4th. One dress is far too short for my Bridesmaid or Best Man – her butt hangs out! I have been going back and forth with them as to how this can be fixed.

I asked if we could exchange the dress for one with added length, of which I would happily pay the extra for. But no, the lady told me to buy a whole new dress! Sure, like I just have an extra $300 laying around to do that. I’m pissed. She said the dress was “made to order” – YEAH RIGHT. If a dress is “made to order”, that means that it is made specificly for that woman, and she wouldn’t need any alterations done. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

I called them just now to try and speak with a manager – and of course, no answer. I left a message, we’ll see how long it takes them to call me back.

I just got mine a few days ago, SO HAPPY! My girls haven’t tried them on yet so I’m just hoping they fit!

@Benten24: That’s horrible! I think I avoided this by getting long dresses, mine all seem as though we will have to take them up.

I ordered 7 petal pink Bill Levkoff dresses from bridesmaids.com.  They beat everyone in price by over $50 a dress.  They turned out PERFECT!  They are all ordered from Bill Levkoff factory so it doesn’t matter where you get them from so go for the best price.  I ordered them Feb 1st and got them May 21st which was a little bit longer than I was expecting.  When I called them to check in, they were able to look it up and tell me when it was going to be delivered.  I highly recommend!

Bumping this thread up. Has anyone recently had good or bad experiences with bridesmaids.com? I’m looking to have my bridesmaids order now and I’m worried about the long time it may take for them to receive their dresses. Also, has anyone gone to the NYC showroom “Here Comes the Bridesmaid?” They seem to have terrible Yelp reviews.

Thanks in advance!

might want to check out chichistyles.com Similar website but has really good reviews and customer service has been great so far.  Have not ordered dresses yet

Ladies, if you’re using the discount site, Bridesmaids.com, please remember to order your dresses at least 7-8 months before your wedding and not the 4-6 recommended!! We ordered 5 (what we thought were) Bill Levkoff dresses according to measurements provided on the Bridesmaids.com website. They arrived in the 4-months described on the website. However, despite careful measurement by Bill Levkoff retailers and ordering to the exact specifications on the website, 2 of the smaller dresses were at least 2 sizes too big, requiring EXTENSIVE alterations. 1 of the larger dresses wasn’t even cut correctly and a 4th dress had a straight pin sewn into the strap and protruding from it, requiring the strap seam be opened to remove it! The ladies at bridesmaids.com were willing for me ship the dresses back to them to assess whether they were defective. By this time, it was too close to our wedding date to trust that they would be satisfactorily handled in time for the wedding. Remember that a discount isn’t always the best way to go! The next wedding I plan will have custom bridesmaids dresses. I’m sure it will not cost more than what we spent on discounted dresses plus alterations.

linnaandwill:  Check out my comments on this board.  Order at least 7-8 months early.  There are no returns and they won’t cover alterations they don’t deem appropriate.
