- Wedding: November 2013
A small problem has come up or maybe it has just gotten more involved. I asked my sister to be a bridesmaid in our upcoming wedding, out of state for her. She said yes but has been complaining/worrying about money since I started throwing out dress options. My parents will most likely pay for her dress, they paid for mine in her wedding. And on the travel side of things it would just be my sister and 3.5 yr old nephew coming; my brother in law does not do anything with our side of the family. My parents, grandparents, and aunt & uncle will all be driving down and are all willing and able to accomodate my sister and nephew so they will not have to pay airfare. She will most likely not take anyone up on their offers but I needed to preface my next question/dilemma with this information. She is currently on unemployment and she and my brother in law thought it would be a good idea to try to have another baby while she will still be on unemployment and since she had my nephew 3 weeks early due to a few complications it would be highly unlikely for her to get clearance to travel if she were pregnant around the time of the wedding. Well 3 weeks ago she told me she was 4 weeks pregnant and would be 36 weeks at the time of our wedding. With that being said do I just replace her with someone else that way she would have the option to attend or not, even in the event the Doctor gives her clearance?
Not sure how to approach the friend I will ask without making it sound like she was the 2nd choice?
Thank you so much for the input!
