When I first started assembling invites (with glue dots) I put one together crooked and FLIPPED OUT when I couldn’t pull the pieces back apart. I think I threw the glue dot box across the room, blamed FI for picking out the wrong glue dots and threatened to send the crooked invite to his mother.

Sorta, though I have only freaked in private.  Both my Maid/Matron of Honor and Jr Bridesmaid or Best Man (my niece) have changed their hair. I know it is their hair and I don’t care how they wear their hair at the wedding but both have colored their hair and my niece she lives in a differ state and is 13 her hair looks horrible (least the picture of her I have seen) My Maid/Matron of Honor went completely a red head, love her cut but the color really doesn’t flatter her.  I am just hoping they both go back to their natural color or a color that flatters them by the time of the wedding comes along.

Though I will never say anything to them since it is again their own hair.

I had my first huuuge freak out this past week. I had final appointments with the DJ and Florist planned for the weekend, and while I was in Boston I wanted to hand over the last of the paperwork we needed for the church. I had been working like a maniac all week to make sure everything was done, and I had given Fiance a list of things I needed from him. The day before I was leaving I still hadn’t got anything I needed from him. I pretty much exploded and cried my eyes out. The next day I had my appointments, and they were FINE even without the information I thought I so desperately needed. Now I feel silly, and I’m going to try to keep my crazy in check for the last few months of this wild ride…

@Sassygrn: Don’t worry about their hair quite yet. They’ll probably have to change their hair again before June anyway. Hopefully, it will be less drastic. 🙂

I have two, and they’re both really silly.  One was an argument with Fiance about the food.  Basically he had his heart set on a taco bar and I didn’t want to do it, mainly because our friends did one a few years ago and I didn’t want her to think I was coppying.  So, I cried and pouted and complained and told him he doesn’t get to just come in and get his way for the few occasions he actually has an opinion….and then after thinking about it a few days, I decided that there was no reason we couldn’t do a taco bar…and I told him I was sorry I was a jerk and that tacos are delicious and that’s that.

The other time I was mad because he told me I should have just done something different when I was frustrated about the way it was coming out….I don’t even remember what the thing was, but him saying AFTER the decision had been made, by me alone, because he didn’t really want to do any planning, then he had the nerve to say I should have just done it differently!?  I got really mad at him and told him to shut it.

Guest List – I will eventually have a complete meltdown over this. I’m sure of it. There is far too much to type about it. haha… Too many people wanna invite too many people and I’ve already sacrificed my friends, for family I don’t really know.

Cake – My mom & I had it out over the cake. She wants something extravagant and noticeable. I want something simple and small. (we’re having cupcakes for the guests, the cake is just for the cutting, it doesn’t need to be HUGE, but she doesn’t get the cupcake thing) UGH.

I just had one minor bridezilla moment when my Fiance decided he wanted to help me with our invitations.  I thought wow he’s so sweet he wants to help so I gave him the task of putting our address labels and stamps on the rsvp envelopes.  He was doing great, then the last 10 he did were upside down.  I told him “really?!  such a simple task and you managed to screw it up?”  lol  I mean I wasn’t actually angry but a little disappointed.  I told him his family would be getting the upside ones since I don’t have extras LOL

Mine was yesterday when Fiance and I were screaming at each other because we wanted the bridal party walk in the church procession in different ways. Also, he yelled at me that ushers and groomsmen were the same thing and I yelled back at him that they’re not.

It’s time for the planning part to be O.V.E.R.!!!

I haven’t had any moments like that, but only because I tend to internalize my irrational freak-outs.  Then I get hives.  Hahahaha. Seriously. I do.  It’s awful.

For my wedding day, I had pre-arranged to have lunch delivered to us & our bridal party while we all got ready at the hotel.  We were going to be on a tight schedule, so everything had been confirmed and re-confirmed.

The food was supposed to arrive at 2:00 so we could have a calm lunch before the photographers arrived at 3:00.  They were going to take a few getting ready shots before we had to leave for the venue at 4.  So 2:00 comes and goes with no food… 2:05, I’m calling the hotel restaurant to make sure they’re on their way.  I’m on hold for a looong time before somebody gets back on the phone to tell me it’ll be there “very soon”.  At 2:15, my Maid/Matron of Honor calls again.  “Soon.”  2:30, I’m officially freaked out.  I am hyperventilating.  Everybody is hungry and dinner is hours away.  I actually had to be physically restrained from running dowsntairs to the hotel restaurant in my short silk getting-ready robe.

The best man was already down there. Turns out they somehow confused the day of my wedding and had not started cooking the food until I called down at 2:05.

That was my first, and only, wedding freak-out!
