So excited for you!! My now Fiance live in San Francisco, and Brilliant Earth was actually the only place where went to look at rings. You have to make an appointment, and mention to the receptionist when you go up to the floor what you are interested in seeing (I’m sure you can specify this when you make your appointment as well). They took us into one of two rooms where they had little desks where they have a lot of settings in a case, as well as specific types of loose stones for you to look at. They also have laptops where they can show you other stones they have in stock, as well as help you order or build a custom ring.

When we went, I thought it was just my Fiance getting accustomed to the idea of us getting engaged. Little did I know that he would order the ring the day after and propose three weeks later! The service is wonderful and they are very low pressure and accommodating. I’m sure you it’s will have so much fun. Oh, and while you’re in town you should definitely check out Waraku in Japantown for delicious ramen (I’m obsessed and take everyone to it).

My ring is the Lissome in white gold with a 1.8 carat cushion on a size 5 finger. Make sure to post pics of the ones you like!

First of all, congratulations. ๐Ÿ™‚

My ring is from brilliant earth. It is the “luxe anthology” setting in platinum. Their customer service is second to none, and my independent jeweler told me that the craftsmanship of their rings is impeccable. I plan to get both wedding rings from there as well

I have had a ton of amazing experiences with them. Also, I highly recommend the insurance they partner with. I had to make a claim and had my check in less than a week.

Here are some that I tried on in the showroom when we went-one was the Verity and the other was the Lissome (which is the one I got).

These were my favorites from them!  We went to the Brilliant Earth store in Boston, and it was also a great experience.  They had pulled my favorite rings but also let us look at the whole selection in person.  The one on one (or I guess really one on two) attention was especially great, because the salesperson and entire case of jewelry was just ours for the entire appointment hour.  I didn’t end up with a ring from there, but I did love a lot of them!

One thing I didn’t know before going there is that they don’t sell just the setting – you have to buy a stone from them.  It seemed like they had a great selection of diamond and non-diamond options, and the salesperson let us spend time comparing diamond and moissanite side by side.  Have fun!!

I guess my experience was extremely different because I wanted a sapphire ring. I emailed the assistant manager all of the Rings I wanted to see and she replied as if she was gonna make it happen. When I got there, there was NONE of which I requested. I understand they can’t have every single ring at the showroom, I just wish she had told me beforehand which ones they did have or did not. Needless to say, I didn’t get my ring from them but they do have beautiful rings and would’ve considered it if I wanted a diamond.

This ring kinda made me want a diamond. But ended up with a sapphire from somewhere else.

I have an appointment there next month to look at wedding bands.

Are they okay with taking photos?

Kelzu :  You can definitely take photos. I took photos of each engagement ring setting and matching bands, etc.

Here’s mine in the tiara setting!
