@TaurianDoll:  I’ve never heard of that, but if it’s what the gift givers want you to do than I would consider it.  It seems like a hassle to bring the gifts to sit on the table and then pack them up at the end of the night.

I have never ever heard of that either… I’ve actually never been to a shower where all the gifts weren’t unwrapped in front of everyone!

My feelings would be a little bit hurt if I recognized my gift among your pile of presents. Like mine wasn’t good enough to open or something. 🙁
Just my 2 cents.

That being said, your presents will most likely gather on the table near your card box, so leave some room there and it should be fine.

If they were sent in the mail as a shower gift, you should open them immediately and send the thank-you note now.
