(Closed) Brita Filter question

Huh, that’s odd. I use one too, and I’ve never noticed the grains turning gray– even after a few months of my 3 roommates and I using the thing with a single filter. Maybe you just got one with some odd bits in it? If you’ve been fine with the water coming out of it up till now, I’m sure it’s fine still, but if you don’t feel comfortable using it anymore, you can always switch to a new filter (although, they are expensive. . . the generic ones are a little cheaper and are the same though!).
