We used our Britax Chaperone with our BOB.  They say that it’s not compatible, but it totally is!

You will need to buy the accessory bar/snack tray that converts the BOB for infant seat use.

We have a BOB, it’s a great stroller.  Really easy to run with!

we had a different car seat, but we also love the Bob!  Since it is pretty large, though, we also got a frame/snap n go stroller (off Craigslist, since it won’t be used long) to keep in my trunk

You can also look into other expensive-ish items:

  • monitors (if you go the motion sensor or video monitor route)…my friends with 2 year olds still use theirs
  • Breast pump…if you’re planning on BFing & going back to work before you want your baby to stop
  • Pack ‘n Play/Co-sleeper…they come with bassinet features for the newborn stage, but convert to playards to use through the infant stage & can become useful travel cribs in the infant/toddler stage
  • Bedding…apparently you need a LOT & they’re not cheap if you like organic stuff

Hope that helps!  Happy that you have such generous GPs to be!

ETA: Ooops! Misread the OP & thought you were looking for other items…sorry for the off topic comment!
