Credit card offer useful for honeymoons:
After you spend $2500 in the first 3 months, you get 100,000 miles! Fiance and I each got one. The annual fee is $95
You need a high credit score for this one, but I figure $95×2 to cover our plane fare is pretty sweet. We will be spending over $5000 on wedding expenses anyway, so easy to meet the $2500 each spending requirement!

Haha, how funny, my Fiance and I both each just applied earlier tonight too! Where are you two planning on honeymoooning with the points? We are getting married on 10/1 so we are debating between Europe and Asia…I’ve been following the deal thread on this card for awhile now.. =)

We are also trying to figure out Europe vs other areas. With the card, we have more options now.
It seems that with 200,000 miles, we can go pretty much anywhere in the world on coach (Hawaii is only 25,000 miles!) but going to Europe has more taxes ($400+ in taxes per person) whereas Hawaii is only $20 or so in taxes. If we go someplace closer, we will use the remaining miles for class upgrade. =D
Another note: I applied to this at the same time as the hyatt Chase visa (2 free nights at ANY hyatt, including park hyatt, which is usually $500-$1000 a night), and due to applying to too many offers I got rejected so I called the number on the rejection letter and explained that I applied to so many offers because ‘m going on my honeymoon this year, and they approved me right away with a generous limit.

This was an awesome deal. My husband and I took advantage of this and went to Italy for our honeymoon for two weeks. We still have another trip left for Europe we hope to use early next year.
Happy honeymoon planning!
