Loving all of these rings!! This is mine… white gold, aquamarine and diamonds. ๐Ÿ™‚

i definitely agree that most of us in Britain have smaller rings, most people I know have diamond solitaires that seem to be a lot smaller than our American counterparts. My fiancés brother even called my ring ‘gaudy’! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I agree, ladies in the UK tend to have much smaller rings than US (and diamonds are so expensive here!)

seeing some pictures on here of beautiful 2/3carat rings on here made me think that mine would be tiny. I saw a 2 carat ring in person and decided I could never wear something so huge!

Mine is 0.75ct centre, 1.2 ct total and everyone here in the UK thinks it’s absolutely huge! when i first saw it i wondered if it looked too big. On some of the threads here it would be tiny, it’s interesting how it varies between countries ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve been loving seeing all my fellow Brits’ rings, so now that mine is back from being reset I thought I’d add it to the post!

Yay for this thread! I couldn’t believe how big the rings in the US seem to be when I joined this forum. We definitely have a different definition of a huge rock over here!

I don’t have my ring at the moment to take a picture of as it is being resized and I have limited knowledge of technical speak but it’s a pretty simple ring. Small illusion set diamond on a plain white gold band. Very dainty and I love it!

This is mine – I think it’s the right size for my hand & I love the sapphire- but do find the US blingy rings v.impressive!

American bee here (so I won’t post my ring). I just wanted to say how refreshing this thread is. Living and working in NYC used to make me self-conscious of my ring – a .4ct oval blue sapphire, .2ct diamond halo in white gold, so it is definitely small and different compared to my colleagues, friends and other bees. You all have beautiful rings!

Here’s my beautiful 0.7ct emerald cut tapered 14ct white gold ring. I got to design it myself after we got engaged. Struggling to get a band that will fit flush so looking at shaped rings at the moment

Have to say YAY for this thread! I dont have my ring yet by my Boyfriend or Best Friend and I have an appointment at Tiffanys to pick one out next week when we visit Vegas on holiday.  We have been emailing the SA with budget etc so she can pul some rings in for us from the inventory and was almost embarrassed to admit the budget as its only getting me around a 0.38c ring from there (i know we pay a mark-up for the brand too). Was worried the stone would be teeny tiny after seeing the huge ones on these boards, however she sent me a picture yesterday of the 4 they have ordered in for me and was pleaseantly susprised how nice they look, and seeing all of these stunning rings has alleviated my concerns also. Im definitely not a blingy person and wanted understated and elegant, but you can get blinded by some of the massive US rings on here sometimes! Cant wait to add my pic to this thread! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here is mine. When Fiance first proposed I thought it was huge! Then I discovered the Bee and got shrinkage. I love it though. Centre stone is a 0.9 VS 2 elongated cushion. I’ve had it for a year and a half and still look at it ALL the time.

Love this thread!

Here’s mine. My husband had it made by an independent jewellers in Chester and I love it. I haven’t seen anyone else with an emerald cut IRL other than on the bee  – I guess it’s not a very popular choice in the UK.

Centre store is 1.02 carat, set in platinum. I can’t recall the clarity/colour off the top of my head but love how it flashes.

I’ve posted here before with just e-ring but here’s my wedding band now as well. It’s a channel set princess cut half eternity to match my princess cut e-ring. Can’t wait to wear them both together. 13 days to go!
