Love all these rings! I used to feel self conscious about my ring as one woman commented on it when I was newly engaged, saying ‘oh it’s better than I’d thought it would be!’ Although she wasn’t actually directly slating the ring I guess, it still triggered off anxiety about it. Now that I’ve got over it and realised that it is about the true meaning of the ring, not just the bling, I am very happy with it and have had the wedding band made. Can’t wait to wear it for real in under 5 months time!

Love this thread!!

My bf proposed last month in Vegas and we picked out a Tiffany emerald. It’s small simple and elegant which is exactly what I was after and I love it!! 0.38c vvs2 G colour. Had so many compliments on it, and it sparkles so much I catch myself staring at it all day!!!

Here’s mine, it’s a 2 carat G SI2 which we actually bought from James Allen online and had shipped over from the US – much better value than anything we saw in the UK! I live in London and mine is actually on the larger side of what I generally see out and about, but we’re currently on holiday in Mexico surrounded by Americans, and my ring suddenly looks small!!!! Never seen so much bling! Wow!

Dogmummy :  I’d never heard if this upgrade concept till I came to this site.

I’ll post a pic when mine arrives, but I have to say I love the amount of moissanite stones here πŸ™‚ I’ve got a moissanite bezel set three stone with a hidden lab grown emerald on its way and I can’t wait, but all my friends here in the UK are confused and have never heard of it!
