(Closed) Broken Ankle. . . how do I stay in shape

@Ulibaddog:  Ugh, I’ve been there! I broke my ankle last January and it was really tough. A broken ankle can make everyday activities really challenging, especially when you are still in pain.

My advice is to try to take it easy, and eat as healthy as you can. If you feel well enough, you can do some ab work to strengthen your core, and use arm weights to tone your arms. Keep in mind that your body is healing, so focusing on that is the best thing you can do. 

Eating healthy means you don’t have to eat all salads all day, but watch your portion size and give yourself little treats.

In the end I think you will be fine. I didn’t gain too much weight, just a few pounds. No one noticed, and everyone was really nice to me about my injury which was nice!

In 30DS, Jillian recommends air punches to ppl to get some cardio in when they’ve hurt their lower bodies, but still wanna get their heart rate up!

Oh, I sprained my ankle two years ago. That was a pain!


My advice is to focus on eating healthy. I didn’t and gained a chunk of chub.
