So the other day, my crockpot burnt out; Perhaps I was too presumptious replying to this thread and fate saw fit to punish me. I came home to find that everything was still RAW! At first I thought I had forgotten to turn it on but when I tested it I could feel that it wasn’t heating up.
Darling Husband & I were super dissapointed; the warrenty was up and we really use our crockpot a lot. So we went to replace it after dinner only to find that the same model costs 100$ (the original was a gift)! This wasn’t going to happen!
This morning I called customer service. I was pretty confident they wouldn’t be able to do anything tangible for me($$) but maybe there was some technical thing I could fix. Well guess who’s getting a brand new crock pot?! I’m overjoyed right now! I’ve always been one to call CS (I’m already an old lady) but I couldn’t have expected this result!
Anyway, moral of the story: it never hurts to call!
