(Closed) Brooch Bouquet Base??

I did a brooch bouquet and I used a full stem of hydrangeas my base and that shaped my bouquet. I didn’t want to use a ball and it look to round but I have seen it done either way sucessfully.

I’m not selling mine, but I found an easy way to start the base of the bouquet.  Start by wiring all of your brooches, then insert them into a small topiary.  I found mine at AC Moore, it looks like this:

  This way I have my base and handle all in one.  From there I pushed my wired brooched through the styrofoam.  All I need to do now is cut the wires that are sticking out of the bottom and cut the handle from the pot & wrap it with fabric.  This is what I have so far, hope this helps!

I got 9 stems of cream pearlescent/shimmery roses with little pearls. Tied together, they make a nice round base and filler to anchor the brooches. Got them from Michael’s. I also got 3 bunches of cream pearlescent/shimmery hydranges (again with little pearls) as an alternative. Both look great, I just haven’t decided which one to use.
