Here is the Brooch Bouquet I made for my daughter. I combined a couple of the toutorials I found on Weddingbee. Brooches were from Fabulousbrooch.com. There were over 65 brooches, rhinestone buttons and wired crystal beads. It weighed a ton but she got so many compliments.
My beautiful daughter and her brooch bouquet:
They were escorted from the church to the reception tent by a bagpiper who just happened to be there!

Good job!!! It’s so beautiful!! What a great piece she can keep forever, knowing her Mother made it for her.

Very pretty! I am awaiting my brooches for fabulousbrooch.com to begin my own brooch bouquet.
What kind of bouquets and bouts did she do for the bridal party? I’m still at a loss at what to do for mine. lol.

Just realized I didn’t have any pictures of the bouts. Here is the more simpler one for the fathers and grandfather. The groomsmen had black lacing around the stems and a rhinestome button in the front. The groom and my grandson (who gave his mother away) had 5 rhinestone buttons grouped with the rose to simulate the bouquet. Hopefully when we get the pro pics back I can get one.

Wow, you did a great job! I had never heard of a brooch bouquet at the time I was planning my own wedding, or I probably would have strongly considered having one!

For coursages, since I’m not a fan of them, I did bracelets. I attached brooches to the silk flowers and then to blingy stretch bracelets from Pat Catans. I did it so the ribbons could be cut and the brooches and bracelets worn seperately. I origionally did them with clasp bracelets, (see pictures) but they slid around too much. I had so much fun doing this wedding!

Thank you for the compliments. Like I said, I had so much fun doing this. My daughter was an encore bride and probably would have rather gone to Vegas, but this was her husband’s first wedding so I wanted everything perfect for them. She would come up with an idea and I ran with it. Her photographer said she was the most laid-back bride in history.
Looking at the backgound in these pictures looks like a flower garden blew up in my dining room!
