I was watching “say yes to the dress” and the woman who married the former Yankee player carried one of these and I thought it was so beautiful.  Who knew they were so popular!!

I am doing the same, I found a thrift store that was selling them at $.99 a piece!  I just keep looking around a pick up a few here and there, its coming out so awesome!  Good luck, I am sure it will be beyond beautiful!

This is going to look awesome. I’m doing 6 brooch bouquets and it has been a lot of work (see photos).  I have been collecting for a few weeks now and I just want it to be finished ASAP!

How are ya’ll doing yours? a Base or just wire stems? I am trying to figure out the best way. HELP!

@FutureMrsLumsden: What did you end up using as your base? And can I see pictures of your progress? I am using flowers as my base but I think it looks lop-sided. So I am looking for ideas

Do you have any pictures of the final product with the flowers? Love this idea!

Your collection is looking great!!

I tried to see how well this would work if I ordered my brooches from china…so I took a ~$14 “chance”

Ordered 1 – 12piece lot of these: http://www.dhgate.com/silver-rhinestone-crystal-cream-pearl-flower/p-ff8080813c8b0e5b013d177212241e68.html

I got them yesterday (took 2 wks) and they are packaged so nicely (ready to sell!)…kind of makes me consider going into my own stateside brooch selling business haha

Most recent photo is of one of the brooches.

Since these came in a decent time and for a fraction of what it would cost ~$1 trying to collect them around town…I msged the seller if they would sell me more of a variety pack versus selling only 1 design.  But this is a great alternative if you have time to wait for them to ship!

here is a picture of my finished bouquet. I used 2 bushels of hydranga for my filler.
