I’ve always dreamed of having a HUGE cascading bouquet for my walk down the aisle, and I will have that. But I also love the look and feel of brooch bouquets. I’ve considered carrying one, but I just can’t get over the cascade I have in my head.
Do you think it might be neat to make a brooch bouquet to toss at the reception? It’s just an idea, but its something that the person who catches could keep, give away, or maybe even use!
As a wedding guest, would you like this idea?

You can mix a brooch bouquet and the cascade, just have the florist put in a ton of brooches in the crown, it would be beautiful. For a toss bouquet, I wouldn’t, I can just imagine someone getting hurt and they are not cheap to make. Not to mention that they are not likely to keep or want to keep it. I have caught several bouquets in my day and would not have kept any of them. IMO, go for just a cheapy to throw.

I only read the title and thought, that would hurt! lol
If you do do it, I say do light weight, non-sharp brooches; and mostly silk florals!

Wouldn’t that hurt to catch? I keep thinking someone would get knocked in the head with it. 🙂

painful, potentially very dangerous.

LOL maybe I didn’t think of the danger because I once got clocked in the nose and ended up the ER over catching regular flowers…but you are so right bees!
