Wow! That is a gorgeous brooch bouquet. I’m more traditional… but I’d probably prefer the look of a bouquet. How would they carry the clutch? I’m picturing them carrying it like a bouquet… and would definitely look silly. Are you picturing them just carrying it by their side?

@mrsztobee:  Have your girls carry bouquets of babies breaths, looks like snow and winter feel but super cheap and you can wrap the stems in silver ribbon and pin one pretty brooch to each handle area. Simply and gorgeous and they can keep the brooch as part of their gift, give them the clutch as well.

@mrsztobee:  I like the bouquet! Smaller replicas for your Bridesmaid or Best Man would be sweet and really pop against the navy blue dress.

@mrsztobee:  ah I see, they are super cute. i think you might raise a few eyebrows with some grannies if you forego the bouquets… But I don’t think it is that big of a deal, so if you prefer the clutches than go for it! My only hesitation would be that for me, bouquets are one of those iconic “wedding” moments, so I’d be sad to miss them. As a bridesmaid, I felt like the bouquet was what made it seem “real.” I wear dresses sometimes, but carrying around flowers feels different lol. Not a big deal though… Go with what you prefer 🙂

i say neither option. I am having a brooch bouquet but my bridesmaids are still having a flower bouquet made of flowers that are part of my theme.

@mrsztobee:  I fully agree!!! I went with silk flowers. That way i can sell them on a website later or maybe make them into a table centerpiece. I like the cluthes though. They are super cute. It’s just not “traditional” that is why people can’t seem to process it. I personally and one for something different.. hense the brooch bouquet! I say give them something to talk about!!!

I did a clutch bouquet, after the cermony the flowers come out & they have the bag… somethinglike this might be a solution for you too.  I wanted to do brooch bouquets for them, but that was just too much.  Sorry pic is so big, I don’t know why.

It is your wedding, but I like the brooch idea better.
