Were doing it – and its bloody expensive and a shit ton of work.  But it will look great.

One recommendation is to make yours bigger and better than theirs. Lol.  They can have a smaller one.

I think that I may be doing this too, if you are making your please post your progress and how you did it, I like reading them to get tips it seems everyone does something different and I have no idea what would be best. I have YEARS to collect and construct.

I think they are also good keepsakes as long as you dont glue the wire onto the boquet then the BM’s can use the brooches or just keep it for something pretty I LOVE them.

We are doing that! Mine is going to be bigger w/ more brooches, & the bridesmaid’s will be smaller with fewer brooches and more flowers. I am so excited to have them finished! Eagle is right though, it is pretty expensive and a lot of work but I think it will be worth it! : ) Especially if you have some sentimental brooches (mom, grandmother,aunts..), at least in your bouquet.

I am debating what to do about my BMs and their bouquets…I am doing a brooch bouquet for myself too, but I worry it will be hard to collect enough brooches for the girls…

I did, but it took me a good 11 months of hard work. The most time consuming part was brooch hunting. If you can get a huge lot off eBay it might work in the time you have. I was super anal though and had specific colors and made sure I didn’t mix gold and silver metals…and mine was turquoise so that was an added obstical. However my number one advice, that I wish I had known from the get go, is model paint can make gold silver..and I used a green and purple sharpie to make clear jewels the colors of my bridesmaid bouquets. Huuuuuge help and no one could tell. In the end it was crazy expensive I’m certain. But I broke it up over several weekends so I didn’t notice. I also found some cheap 2″ diameter cool looking rose broaches on line that the guys used for bouts..as flowers would have looked strange.

I can’t figure out how to post a pic on my phone 🙁 I only had 2 female bridesmaids….and honestly between the 3 bouquets I used 500 at least. Then again I used a ton of small stuff, clip on earrings and such. I think they look strange without those “fillers”. Wish I could post a pic because another score I bought like 300 mother if pearl flower shaped buttons (.25 inch I think) and glued a pearl in the center. Great, cheap, and cute filler.

I’m doing a brooch bouquet for myself but my BMs will be having fabric bouquets with added brooches and rhinestoned buttons. I want my bouquet to be the eye catcher but BMs to still look good.

You can have your brooch bouquet and a smaller version for your Maid/Matron of Honor. With the remaining brooches you can add them to the other BMs bouquets. Just an idea since it requires a good amount of brooches for just one. Good luck!

I want to make a brooch bouquet but with ten bridesmaids and two months left, I won’t be making bouquets for my girls. I will prob get roses for them although i’m not 100% sure.
