I’ve seen too many pretty pictures of brooch bouquets – I need to make one! However, it won’t entirely fit with our traditional English church wedding, so I’m wondering… could my two child bridesmaids (flower girls) carry them? Or someone else? Or could I make some sort of brooch-corsage (sp?) for the mothers? Or something?!

What if you mixed flowers and brooches for your bouquet? I have a vision in my head but can’t find a pic.

@futurebauer: That’s beautiful! Maybe I could do something like that…

I think that it would be great if you could mix them with flowers for your bouquet. I am sure that depending on the brooches you pick, you could make it work that way. Also, depending on the size of your child bridesmaids (flower girls), an all brooch bouquet might be to heavy for them. If you are going to have them throw petals, lavender, or something else, you might consider adding brooches to their baskets, instead and maybe a matching headband for their hair.
