Just wanted to say that I’m 14 weeks pregnant and I had brown spotting a couple days before finding out I was pregnant until about week 7! I was a nervous wreck but levels were all fine. Babies make us start worrying before they’re even here! Lol Keep us posted!

This means to me that hope is not lost! From what I’ve read online (Dr. Google) it may just be to early to see it. Be encouraged by the heartbeat and know that we’re sending positive vibes your way!

I had brown spotting at 4 and 8 weeks in both my pregnancies. I’ve read that this is actually when AF would have been due, so there’s a tiny bit of your old cycle still hanging around. I now have two healthy kids!

My early sporting was actually because my placenta was low lying and implanting/developing over the cervix. As my uterus grew it shifted up and was out of the way for delivery. I’m glad you saw a heart beat today! Try to enjoy your pregnancy and not be overwhelmed with worry! So far things seem positive and 30% of pregnancies has spotting in the first trimester!

mrsm42712:  That sounds disheartening, bee. I’m sorry. Whatever this all means is medical, but hope is emotional. I’m no doctor, but I’m holding on to hope and sending up prayers that this turns out okay. Please keep me posted and take good care of yourself.
