Is anyone using or have been to weddings were the groom and groomsmen wore Chocolate Brown Tuxes?
The colors for our wedding are Tiffany Blue and Chocolate and since my girls are in Tiffany Blue I wanted to use the brown tuxes. My question is, do you think they are formal enough?
I am having a formal country club wedding and want to make sure that the guys don’t look out of place. I originally had my heart set on these tuxes but since went overboard on my dress and veil so it’s def not as simple as I planned.

I think they’ll be fine. A tux is still a tux, even if it’s brown. Although, a disclaimer to my opinion, I’ve never seen a chocolate tux in person! But in pictures, they look almost like black tuxes and I don’t question their formality. 🙂

My Fiance recently wore one for a wedding he was in. I think brown tuxes can go either way on formality—the ushers wore them with a tie and they looked more like a suit but the groom and groomsmen had vests and ties so they seemed to be a little more dressy. I don’t think that they look as formal as black tuxes, but it’s still a very put together look.
I can probably find some pictures for you if you want to send me a message.

I love this look. We are doing black tuxes and my Fiance is wearing a white one but he was in 2 weddings that he had to wear a chocolate brown tux and looked amazing in it. GRRRR!!!! HAHAHA!!! The first one was a FUBU tux and it was brown with brown pinstripes and the second one was from Men’s Warehouse and that was a Calvin Klein one I think. Both looked great in pictures.

Thanks girls! It was one of the first decisions we made but I think my whole overall idea of the wedding has changed and I just wanted to make sure they would still look okay.
Lampshade- I’m going to take you advice and do vests and ties to dress them up a little.
