    We are doing a brunch wedding too. I think it is a great idea. We are doing going to do a similar idea.

    I think if you do something like that,guests will nibble and eat less of the actual brunch food. I’d skip it, honestly, since it is an added expense and not really necessary. You want them to eat your food that I’m sure you’re paying plenty to have served.

    I agree with smyley that if you add the pastry baskets, the rest of your menu will be wasted. Pastries and other breads fill you up quickly so that you don’t have room for anything else. You could have something as part of the brunch table if you wanted, but I don’t think they are necessary on the guests’ dinner tables.
