We’re having some family over for brunch tomorrow, and I’m trying to finalize my menu. I’m looking for suggestions! It’s only six of us, so not a big gathering, but I still want people to have options. For sure we know we’re having quiche, a berry fruit salad, and someone is bringing a coffee cake. I was also planning on making some homemade cinnamon rolls, but now that I’ve heard about the coffee cake I think it might be too many sweets. I was also considering sides of some bacon and/or sausage, and we also have all the ingredients for stuffed Brie, but I don’t know if that really goes with brunch. Thoughts, suggestions?

Stuffed Brie totalyl goes with lunch. You can make it pretty easily with crescent roll dough. You could make it a bit more “breakfasty” by adding bacon under the pastry.
Also, remember, brunch can have lunch food… maybe a nice green salad or a cold meat and cheese plate with crackers might be nice.

I was going to suggest a meat/cheese plate too. Also, you could have some sort of a soup as an option. We had a brunch wedding and had a variety of things (waffle station, bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit, pastries, ginger beef, VA ham with alfredo noodles, turkey carving station, soups (2 kinds), and lord I dunno what else). Obviously you don’t need ALL of those choices, lol but you could add a more lunchy food. Also, nice drinks. Maybe a variety of teas/coffee/cocoa/juice. Maybe mimosas? I dunno =D
Brunch is awesome. I had wedding day waffles mmm.

Thanks for the suggestions. We’ve struggled with the menu because we want to give lots of options, but with only six of us we don’t want to go overboard. My SIL is also bringing fresh baked bread so we’ll have that with jam too. I think we’ll skip the cinnamon rolls and maybe ad in some meat options with the cheese.
i think we’ll be playing this by ear in the morning!
