jerzgrlnmd :  Sounds great! What’s with the beef patties though, is that local? I haven’t seen those at any brunch I’ve been to. I’d add some pastries maybe, like danishes or coffee cake.

For the bar, what about bloody marys? Belinis are like a mimosa except peach nectar instead of oj – dreamy! And maybe cordials like Baileys and Frangelico for boozy coffee?

As far as alcohol, I would add Bloody Marys, just because I love Bloody Marys ๐Ÿ™‚

As far as food, I think it sounds great!  I might have an assortment of donuts/muffins/pastries because you’re a bit heavier on the lunch side of brunch.  Then again your time of day is later then a typical brunch.

Mimosas and bloody marys for the bar. Your menu sounds great!

That menu is making me hungry! You could also do bloody mary’s and bellini’s; they are popular brunch drinks also.

Alcohol – Mimosas, Bellinis or both. ๐Ÿ™‚ Bloody Marys are bleck but seems to be an acquired taste and some love them. I love your menu as is except the beef patties seem a bit out of place. I agree with the above pastry suggestion. Also, super jealous right now. We wanted to do brunch but our crowd wasn’t feeling it. 12pm or later for them means lunch and thats all there is to it. lol

I read these menu posts the way other people look at porn ๐Ÿ˜€

I love the idea of a brunch wedding, regardless of the time of reception (I know we love to have breakfast for dinner about once a week).

If you’re talking about West Indian/ Jamaican patties, definitely have them- I love them!

I’m not big on waffles, but I know more people will agree with your husband and love them ๐Ÿ™‚ Besides, I’d be having a tough enough time deciding btw the omelet bar and the deli station….they both sound delicious

As for drinks, IA with other posters that I’d add a Caesar/ Bloody Mary & Bellini as these seem in keeping with the brunch theme. Maybe add Iced Tea (aka sweet tea) for the soft bar.

jerzgrlnmd :  Now the patties make perfect sense. ๐Ÿ˜€ Had them in Montego Bay and they were delicious. Pastries I could take or leave but a lot of people I know would enjoy them, especially with coffee, so its up to you. Not a requirement by any means. We’re having Cuban food so I’m not too heart broken but I still love brunch!

I am thinking of doing a champagne brunch as well.  Love your menu and the west indian flair to it.   Add the bloody marys! I hate them but people drink them up all the time at brunches.  Sounds great!
