Hi bees! Anyone who has had or is planning a brunch wedding, would you be willing to share your timeline/order of events for the morning? More specifically the ceremony and the time leading up to it. Our reception is solid, already booked for 12 noon-4pm, but the ceremony is a little more fluid, as we have the venue all day, the day of and the day before. I’m trying to figure out what time the ceremony needs to be, and once that is figured out, what time everything else needs to be done. Thanks!

Are your ceremony and reception in the same location? Or do guests have to travel from one TJ the other? How many people do you have going through hair and makeup? Pictures before or after ceremony? First look or no?

Our reception location is a 2-minute drive down the road from our ceremony venue. As far as makeup and hair, it’s just myself and my Maid/Matron of Honor (only member of bridal party), we would like to do family pictures individually before the ceremony, but we do not think we want a first look, and would do our pictures after the ceremony.
That would be our first choice to do them after the ceremony and before the reception, but honestly if we are too strapped for time, our pictures can wait until after the reception since it ends at 4.
