deysic24 :  Started at $15K but quickly spiraled into $18K for the wedding. We are not going on a honeymoon.

We are aiming around $12k for 80 people. Look to be on budget with a ton of help from family doing my DIYs for me.

We are looking at about 8k for 115 guests.  We were hoping to stay under 10 so we’re happy with that.  The honeymoon will be about 1.5k probably, but we are driving and won’t be doing anything too expensive.

We have a tiny $2K budget for about 100 guests (by choice lol) and are currently undecided on honeymoon. My parents are supplying all the food so that cut down our budget tremendously and we are DIYing almost everything. Weddings very rarely reach over $4K in our area.

$10k firm. I’ve been doing a ton of research on vendors and cutting some things out to make sure we fit in that budget.

We’re going on our honeymoon a few months after, and our registry is going to be a honeyfund; we already live together and have the things we need for our home, but we won’t be able to afford the honeymoon we want on our own.

Our parents gave us $250 000 to spend on our wedding. They wanted a large wedding with extended family and friends that was their only request, so we’re having between 500 and 600 guests.

We are going to ora Bora for 3 weeks

We are paying for almost everything (my parents are paying for our lodging and the place our reception is being held which is $100) we are doing a three day wedding weekend at an rv lodge, guest who can afford it are paying for their own lodging. I’m hoping that all in we will be at 10,000 including our honeymoon  ($4500 for a comedy cruise in south America) originally I only wanted to spend about 3,000 on wedding weekend but I’m ok with going over budget.

We are sitting right around $8k USD for our wedding. That’s not including the $2k my parents put in. I’m doing a tonne of stuff myself to keep costs down. I am hoping to sell at least $1k worth of stuff afterwards. We are inviting 75 people.

Our honeymoon is costing us $6k USD, three weeks in South East Asia visiting 4 countries 😀 Can’t wait!

300 people…I stopped counting at $124K yell

No budget for the honeymoon as we’re not going right away.

We are paying for everything ourselves.

We haven’t completed all of the items yet, but my estimates are rolling up to 40K – 45K for 75-100 people, in Temecula Wine Country. The 5K difference being from the guest list, locked in at 75 but the maximum capacity is 100 so we ended up inviting 110. Yikes.

However, this number includes EVERYTHING. Gifts for the bridal party and parents, a honeymoon in Maui (6 – 6.5K), a bridal shower paid for by my mom (1K) and my bachelorette in Vegas ($500).

My budget started at around $25K, but that was naively set when I made silly assumptions like a photographer would cost $1500. I didn’t know what I was getting in to, but my mom (paying for 30%), my Fiance and I don’t regret any of the decisions we’ve made! 🙂

Some of these posts make me sick.

anyway! I was hoping for a $5,000 wedding but as soon as I started searching for venues, I realized that wouldn’t be possible.  We are looking at about 100 guests but I’d love to pare that down.  I have about 25 people I want to invite and the rest of the list is my fiancé. Yikes!

I think we will end up around $8,000-$10,000 but we will be doing lots of DIY!
