Would you consider a cruise? They’re generally cheaper per day, and you still get all the same amenities!

We went to Punta Cana because it seemed to be the best deal for our money.  It was gorgeous and we had an amazing time.  It really depends on what you want to do on your honeymoon.  Snorkeling there isn’t the best but the beaches were gorgeous, we swam with the dolphins, went on a catamaran to a really pretty island, and did a dune buggy tour to another gorgeous beach and a cave.  We stayed at the Majestic Elegance resort, I would definitely recommend it.

@redhead46:  i really enjoyed the majestic in punta cana too.

@Soon_To_Be_Mrs_T:  where are you flying from?  september and october are usually good times to get great travel deals.

There are lots of great deals on groupon and livingsocial for tropical all-inclusive vaca’s.  The only thing is you may not get that fancy honeymoon suite. But most of them include airfare and some even include select excursions! Definitely check them out!
