I was 25 when we got married and our budget was under 5,000 and we totally made it no problem. Its all about priorities. We choose to put 30% down on a home and pay a chunk of our student loans vs having a crazy expensive wedding. And I still had everything I could have wanted at my wedding 😀

I’m 29 and our goak is 20K for a wedding in Scotland plus our airfare to Scotland. We are hoping to stay at 125 guests. We are each responsible for saving 10K and his parents have been very generous in helping us with our deposits. Since they’re in Scotland it’s easiest for them to pay the deposits than us to transfer money there. Other than help with deposits we’re covering the remainder ourselves.

We are both 23 and will be 24 at the time of the wedding. We started at 20k, but it looks more like 25k now. I am super stressed about it; I never wanted to go that high! :[ Not everything is planned (we still have 8 months!), so most of these figures are estimates. We are inviting around 215 guests, and each of us have 8 attendants.
