I had several dream dresses; all over $8,000.00. The first four were my dream dresses and the last one fit my budget. My budget dress was a little more than your budget price, but it was discounted because it was a sample and the best thing was that no one before me had even tried it on. I am posting just to let other brides know that even though they may have a “dream” dress that is way over budget, if they are patient, they can find a similar one that they will love just as much and still be able to stay within their budget.

My MAX budget was $5,000 but even then it killed me to spend that much on a dress.

Budget Blowing, Pnina Tornai…no idea on price but Klenfields says $8-10,000!

My dress, Sottero Midgley Loretta- $1,800.00

@noritake22: I love your third dream dress too, I had a photo of it in my “book.” I don’t know who the designer is. I always thought it was so dreamy and romantic.

When I went to go try on dresses, I walked into the salon and fell in love with this dress:

Until I saw the price tag….$7,500…yeah…not happening.

I LOVE my dress.  It was on the upper end of my budget, but it was in my price range.  So this is my dress:

@paperumbrella:  My favorite dream dresses and budget dresses.  Not sre which I am going with yet as I have not tried any dresses on yet.. I believe that I will know the one when I try it on.

Here are my dream dresses:

So as you can see.. all of these styles are so gorgeous.. and my budget pic *see above* may be a bit more than 500 dollars.. but it’s the gown that counts for me!

My dress came in at $200 over budget after alterations so not “busting” by any means.

This is the budget busting Monique Llhullier “elusive” dress.  I call it elusive because I had gone to a few salons that carried her but never dared ask for it.  I think it circles around $7500.  Which is more than double what mine cost
