I haven’t really budgeted out a whole lot as venues vary so much and we haven’t booked yet, but I know I hope to not spend more than $10k on the whole wedding. I spent $265 on my dress, and am thinking I might have another $200 in alterations.

for my projected budget, about 6% but that’s just a target, hopefully it’s even less! small budget overall.

My dress budget was $1,000.  The dress that I wanted was originally $900, but one week before I purchased it the price dropped to $350.  I lucked up! 🙂

About 13% for the whole look (dress, belt, veil, jewelry, shoes and alterations).

I originally wanted to spend as little as possible and ordered a white bridesmaid dress for $180.  When it finally came in in my size, it wasn’t flattering.  I thought about altering it, but then bit the bullet and went dress shopping again with a $1,500 budget.  I fell in love with a Wtoo dress at $1,200, which is about 7% of our $17,500 total budget.

I don’t know my exact percentage, but I knew that I didn’t want to spend over $1K on a dress if I didn’t have to. My dress was $880, and that was including $100 store credit and tax (which really evened itself out). My alterations were less than $100, as I didn’t need much done.

We tried to spend around $10K on everything, and it was probably closer to $12K when it was all done. So, I guess that would be around 13% of my budget.

My initial dress budget was 5K, but the dress of my dreams ended up only being $2200! That comes out to about 4% of our total wedding budget.

about 10%. wedding will be a little over 12k total and my dress will be about 1200-1300 after alterations. I had initially wanted something around 800 max but I fell in love with a $950 dress that had to be petite custom ordered (+$150) and will still need a few other alterations. Innitial budget for the wedding was 10k but has since been bumped up a bit.

Fell in love with a dress that was $3600, but with a 10% discount and no need for alterations, it came to $3240, the wedding ended up being about $31k, including everything, so just over 10%?

Yikes.
