Wedding Chicks has free printable invitation templates here: http://www.weddingchicks.com/freebies/

I didn’t use them for my invites but I plan to use one of their templates for my cermony programs.

Vendor suggestions:

for postcard sized magents (STDs): buildasign.com (look for coupon codes or call them and they will give coupon code…they gave me 25% off when I called!)

Invites: I like the look of raised lettering so I ordered free samples from annsbridalbargains.com and invitationsbydawn.com (which I think are the same people?) and found some I like that would be under $300 for 120 thermography invites, reception cards, and response cards plus they also have coupons alot too! My only problem is I found some I absolutely love from weddingpaperdivas but they are about 3x the cost and invitations were not a huge area in our budget 🙁

I’m also looking into making my own invites and found a local printer who would charge next to nothing to print invites…my future sister in law used them for her wedding of 400 people (so she had 200+ invites) and for paper (which she got at hobby lobby), printing, and cutting she spent about $80 total.

Software suggestions: you can get 30 day free trials of any of the photoshop software but I used Picasa which is free for our STDs!

@FutureKMS:  Im making pocket fold invites all myself. Just need a good printer, a paper cutter, tape glue and some pretty paper 🙂 Oh and some buckles and ribbon if you like.

They come out to about $1.50-$2.00 each 🙂 I only use word too, I don’t see the need for photoshop and the like haha

I found my magnet STD by designing them myself and using Vistaprint. It was cheap (they always have good deals, and I purposely waited for one!)
