Hi fellow bees!
I need your help/advice/suggestion for honeymoon ideas. My fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves and will shortly after be buying a house so we have a tight budget for a honeymoon. Any suggestions!? Thank you!

What kind of budget do you have?
if you are trying to stay stateside i would suggest Chareston SC – in November it probably wont be warm enough for beaches but the city itself is full of things to do.
If you are looking for somewhere warmer try southern florida, like Sanibel Island or Marco Island.

Where would you be coming from, how much is your budget, and how long are you hoping to go for?

We’re looking into stayin in a B&B somewhere in our state or going up to Chicago for a weekend since it’s the closest city. It’s definitely difficult to find something that’s ‘honeymoon worthy’ without spending a lot of money.

We would be coming from South Orange County, California. I think at least 3 or 4 nights would be ok. Of course I’d like 6 or 7 : ) I think our budget would be under 3k but again, the less we spend the better! My fiance has been all over the states so I think some where out of the states would be the most enticing for him. Thank you ladies for your help! I’m gonna keep these places in mind to travel to!

Train ride! They’re fairly cheap, and you can buy a month’s pass to go anywhere you want. Then you can stay a day in a city you like, then get back on the train the next day on your way home. See the sights ouf our nation before settling into a home. 🙂

If you’re coming from Cali, Mexico or Hawaii maybe? Or Vegas 😉

You can do an all-inclusive resort for 5-6 days for around 3k if you do your research! My Fiance and I are honeymooning in Punta Cana for 6 nights and we’re spending just over $3k, too! 🙂 We worked with an agent at Apple Vacations and they were great at helping us narrow down our options and book a resort and flights!
