Our total budget (not including honeymoon or rings) is 52k. Even then I don’t feel like it’s enough. I think I’d be better off with 75k or so but whatever. We’re both paying for it all on our own.

$60,000 but we are approaching close to $63,000… he is the one that wanted to have it in NYC, so he is paying for half of it! 🙂

Our budget started at 55-60k but it keeps creeping up! Weddings are expensive in Toronto! We are now at at least 67k and that is not including rings and honeymoon. Luckily our parents are very generously helping us out with this wedding, or else we’d be eloping!!

@tink1983:  Toronto is SO expensive! Our budget is 45k including rings and our honeymoon. In order to make the budget work, I am doing all of our centrepieces, invitations, favours and several other items myself. I all DIY-ed out!

@tink1983:  @raspberry bride: Ugh, so happy to see other Toronto brides here who are struggling with how EXPENSIVE a wedding in this city is!! I don’t even want to say how much my budget is because I feel like people would probably judge me for it – and I don’t even feel like I am having an over the top wedding. Seriously, just a nice venue, good food, open bar … it will be a nice wedding, but we aren’t having anything super fancy. I am a medical student and have NO time for DIY projects, so I know that makes it tougher to save on money, but still! It’s crazy!

We planned on 150 guests with a budget of 10K.  Lol…that budget grew to around 15K even with the many diy projects I did.  I’m sure I could have done 10K but there were things that I got overindulgent on that I hadn’t planned for.

5k. I live in an area where everything except gas and real estate is dirt cheap, so i can get most of my stuff for either free or under $3. The majority of that money will go toward pictures and reserving the reception venue. My Fiance is baking our cake, im decorating it; our rings are not going to be diamonds so we can get them off Etsy for about $30 apiece; the chapel is free; the music is free off of his Ipod; the flowers are silk and about a dollar for about ten blooms; the BMs and GMs are paying for their own attire; the dress i want is only 200; most of our things are DIY, and made of stuff i already have or can get at a thrift shop for around .50 to 1.00; his best man is paying for his tux; i am buying most of the little decorative things from wrapwithus . com, because their stuff is dirt cheap, or from dollar tree where everything is a dollar. I doubt we will even get anywhere near 5k to be honest

I would like to keep it under $30K, including rings and honeymoon, but I can see that is not happening. Currently we are at $30K exlcuding rings and honeymoon. We have 320 people on the guest list and are hoping for 250-275. Also, my mom is a florist, so flowers are not included in the $30K budget (that would probably add $5000).

It was $20K, then went up to $30K, now it’s looking like it will be around $35K for about 80 guests. Oy. I kind of wish I’d been stricter with the budget so it wouldn’t have gone so high but I know it’ll be a beautiful day so we’ll deal with it I guess!

Roughly $10,000. I am doing alot of DIY projects and luckily we are friends with a DJ and photographer so we are very lucky for that.
