We’re trying to keep it under 20k for a semi-destination wedding for around 200-250 people.  We are renting a ranch where there is no site fee, just the cost of lodging for 15 people, which helps but then we have to figure out rentals on our own (which adds up).  So far, so good, but we are still finalizing details with caterer, musicians, etc.   we are planning on lots of DIY!!!

I spent close to 2K for the simple reception right after the wedding and around 1K for the pig roast the next day. Total cost of wedding (excluding honeymoon) was 5K.

Hmmmm, I am so bad at math! Let’s see . . .

Venue/Catering/Bar: $20,000

Flowers/Decor: $3,500

Dress/Tux/Shoes: $3,000

Makeup/Hair/Spa: $2500 (Gift to Bridal Party)

DJ/Photobooth: $3,000

Invites/Paper Goodies: $1,000

Photographers: Two amazing professional friends = Free!

So, about 33k without rings or the honeymoon.

Without rings or honeymoon, around 70-80k I think in Philly for 200-250 people. The final numbers are TBD so it will change the overall budget. I am just not a DIY’er and have no patience so my mom is my planner and its her call so I just go with it.

When we began we thought we could to $40k for 120 people.  We’re extremely fortunate and my parents are paying for the wedding and FI’s parents are paying for the rehearsal dinner + the out of town open reception after the rehearsal dinner.  At the moment we’re at $42k and we think we’ll be between $45-$50k….

Our budget does not include rings nor does it include our Honeymoon.

For 200 we planned on spending $15K, and this does not include dress attire, or his attire.  We’re now at 250 people, and at $17,500 ๐Ÿ™

Ours is going to be around $1500 for 50 guests. It might seem like a small budget but I think thats plenty for our special day! I get so excited on WB finding brides that can help me with ideas for my big day!

NY Metro is insane.  I agree.

We’re at about 45k for 250 people, with rings.  Honeymoon is probably another 5k on top of that….

If we hadn’t already made the down payment, I’d feel worse about that number…

We are spending about $6,000 on 200 people.  We are currently $1,000 under budget.  Living in the midwest helps –

However, my mom bought my dress and is paying for the honeymoon, FI’s parents paid the rental fee for the church ($1,000), rehearsal dinner, and alcohol – so some major expenses were eliminated ๐Ÿ™‚

We started off thinking 15k, then 18k, now it’s a little under 22k and that’s where I plan to keep it!
