$11,000 for about 75 guests at a historic Beautiful site with marble walls, etc… it is going to be amazing

ways I have cut cost= Friday night wedding, semi-inexpensive dj, negotiating with caterer, phtographer and videographer, wedding day of coordinator, and dj, DIY decor and flowers, renting tablecloths online through a reputable company, trying on dresses I love at various stores and then asking the least expensive store to order it for me if they do not have it, bargain hunting (but checking to ensure everything is highly praised). can’t wait..think it’ll be wonderful!

We are looking at about $65K.  Yikes…I hate that it will cost so much!  But, it will be about 300 people (didn’t even know I knew that many people…and this is a cut down version!) We are very lucky that his parents are paying for most of this, with my parents and us pitching in where we can.  A big portion is going to our venue (about 10K) and that includes only location!   We have to do food, rentals (even bathrooms), etc. on top of that.

My original goal was 20k, but after all is said and done, it’s going to be about 25k.  That doesn’t include rings and honeymoon either.

our budget is 5000! We are hoping to not go over it! That includes all ceremony and reception aspects, although the rentals may put us a little bit over! We have 70guest, but haven’t sent out the invites yet! So we’ll see how it goes!

Reception budget is around 10K… Adding everything else into the picture puts us around 18K-20K though!

Ours was 30k for about 200 guests in Atl but it seems to be growing and completely unintentionally! Geez, weddings are not cheap and there’s so many little things! So now we are looking at 30-40k.

I am hoping to keep it under 35k for 150 people in Laguna Beach.  This is not including our honeymoon or rings.

It is seriously crazy how these things add up.

our budget is $5,000 for 125 people!  Yes i know its super low but we…let me rephrase that I plan to DIY a lot of it.  I have been doing a lot of comparision shopping since we have a 18 month engagement to make sure that I am getting the best buy for my money and not getting ripped off.  Our reception site was super super cheap, $250 for the entire day and the night before too.  Includes set up, clean up, dance floor, linens (in our wedding colors at no extra cost), valet parking.  Our venue is so pretty and I was so shocked (still am) to hear of the super low low price!!! We plan to do a bbq buffet style since my fiance is from the south we thought it was a nice way to incorporate from back home.  Our DJ is having a promotion for anyone who books with him by May 1st 2010, even though our wedding isn’t until July 16, 2011 he is still honoring the discount to us!  He comes highly recommended by others in the area.  Grand total for DJ will be $400 of 4 hrs for both the ceremony and reception.  Photographer is actually my MOH’s family friend who is wanting to build up his portfolio for weddings ( I know I know what you ladies are thinking it’s a big risk to take for not being expierenced in the wedding side of photography) he will be giving us the disc with ALL the photos taken from ceremony and reception with no strings attached if we agreed to let him use us on his website!!! Total cost for our photographer will be $250.00/ all day which I forgot to add he will touch up and add special effects etc to the pics for free that will be included on the disc too 🙂

@osakagirl – is your wedding here in Sac? How are you doing it for $3000?! We decided to move ours to Vegas just because we couldn’t find a way to afford to have it here!  That’s awesome!!!

My budget is $3k for a weekend in Vegas:

Ceremony, flowers, hair and makeup, and photog = $1000

Cake = $350

Champagne = $160

Suite for 3 nights =$560

A wedding we can actually afford = Priceless!
