All the bridal salons I looked at take a deposit of 50% to order the dress and then you pay the rest once the dress comes in. If that’s what you mean by a payment plan.

We just paid for mine upfront, but I don’t think they had payment plans anyway. You could easily find an amazing dress for less than 2,000 just look around

@g_g_dgjb:  I would start looking around in July 2013. You only need 6-8 months though if you’re ordering designer.

@g_g_dgjb: i think it’s a good budget. you should check out an Alfred Angelo Store. they have beautiful dresses and most are way under $2000!!!

$2000 is a decent starting place for a budget.  If worried about payment plans, you can always talk to the store and see what they offer.

$2k is definitely doable! Remember alterations are extra, and usually around $300.
