Wasn’t sure what specific category this questions fell under….
So, after reading the posts on here from Bees who had an awesome Budoir Shoot as gifts to their Fiance, I was all jazzed to get a photo shoot done for my man. He’s a traditional guy and somewhat “old school”, but still goes out to strip clubs every once in a while with his friends. So, I figured a budoir shoot would be a PERFECT gift for him (he’s always asking me to dress sexier, wear stilettos, etc…)
Well, I found a photographer and was ready to set up a shoot appointment (it would be very tastely – sexy, but not nude or anything extreme). I dropped a subtle hint to Fiance, about photo shoots in general, and he responded with “absolutely not! i wouldn’t want you or me to get any photos taken that could be leaked out to the public!” Then he went on this big rant about job security, blah blah blah….
Now, maybe my hint was so subtle that he didn’t really understand what I was referring to – or he assumed that I meant naked pictures or something like that – but either way, this response of his has totally derailed my plans for his wedding gift.
Knowing him, I could see him LOVING if I did something tasteful and surprised him with it, but now that he was specifically expressed a “no photo shoot” rule, what do I do?
Have any of you guys experienced this before? And if so, did you just not do it? Or did you go for it and your Fiance loved it anyway?
Thanks for the advice!
