So I have quite a while till I actually get married, but I saw a cute budoir pic on pinterest of a girl wearing a Jets jersey, so I thought doing one in a Bears jersey would be fun! Or cowboy boots, idunno.
What are everyone’s thoughts on these?

I’d do the pictures myself if I was going to do anything like this.
ETA side thought: Thinking about it, there are a lot of hypocritical opinions about these photo shoots. “My man isn’t allowed to look at strange, half naked women!” but it’s okay for another photographer (male or female) to take pictures of nearly naked significant others. Hm.

@Hyperventilate: Good boudoir photographers are like gynos and waxers. It’s their job, they see it all day and have likely seen it all. I doubt the photographer (unless they are extremely unprofessional) are getting turned on in the shoots.

@agdluvstx: I plan on getting them done and cant wait!!!! I think they’re awesome, not just for the FI/DH (he’ll love them btw) but also for myself. My wedding is probably the best shape I’ll ever be and I want to remember how amazing I looked when I was young 30 years from now. I wouldnt be ok with a male photographer taking them, I know they’re like OBGYN and they’re pros, but hey I dont go to a male OBGYN for the same reason, it just makes me uncomfortable.

I did a shoot a few days ago that I’m going to give to Fiance. I do not like or do cheesy crappy looking lingerie shoots. The shots we got were very artsy or soft and romantic. The vast majority of these shoots that I’ve seen come out looking odd but I think it boils down to the women never having done it, being not quite comfortable, or crappy photographers.
btw my shots were really for a job but I loved them so will use them and save myself from having to set up a shoot with a boudoir photographer.

i love the idea but i am not sure if they fit into our budget yet :S I have heard that they are great for a confidence boost, despite what most women think !

@agdluvstx: Use a professional with boudoir experience who can help style your shoot to achieve the look you want. For example, do you want to be elegant and mysterious, innocent and romantic, playful and cute, carefree and sexy, etc. An experienced boudoir photographer will help pose you and create the look you desire. Poorly done lingerie photos can look cheap, so I recommend going all out and keeping it classy. I uploaded a few images from my boudoir shoot that I am comfortable sharing. Most are for my fiance’s eyes only.

@Seashells7: What you heard is true- they are a great confidence boost, because you can’t help but feel wonderful when you see your fiance’s jaw drop. This is particularly true if you don’t normally take photos such as these, as he will be delightfully surprised. If you find the money in your budget, I definitely recommend you go for it.

I love them! I’m getting ones on my wedding day with just my veil and wedding underwear on after my hair and make up is done. I can’t wait. I’m going to surprise him with the pictures for christmas!

I have been thinking about doing them, but not sure yet. If I did do them I have a really good gal friend of mine who does photography and I think we could make the experience a lot of fun.

@FLBlonde93: If i cant find money for it, I have talked briefly to our photographer about taking a few while I am getting ready just as NatashaLH said..Fiance wont know what hit him!
