@ImmaBee: One issue I have with stations is the potential to wait in multiple lines. My food from the first station always gets cold by the time I get it all 🙁 Or you have to keep getting up for different station’s food.
My friend’s wedding had stations and everyone wanted the pasta, so the line was soooo long for it. You have to prepare each station for at least 1/2 of the guests going for it. That can get really pricey.
You could have two buffet lines (or a double buffet) to cut down on the one big line, or call tables.
But, in the end, either option works. The quality of the food is what matters most 🙂
