This might confuse you even more but based on what you’re looking for, Baby Jogger is pretty great. It can be folded with one hand in a second, has a clip that is easy to open, great wheels, hand brake and can be used with a bassinet. It’s so hard to choose a stroller, there are so many that are very similar!

whitepeony: thanks for the suggestion. But I’m not a fan of the baby jogger strollers. They are heavy and bulky and the mini which is the only one I’ve seen of a decent weight, is a three wheeler and we want a four wheeler. It’s also wider than whah I am looking at. I also don’t think (I could be wrong) that the seat is reversible.
it amazed me how many strollers there are. It’s seriously like buying a car. Maybe harder haha

mazzoffee: Just wondering if you have made any decisions on this yet? We’re still waffling big time.

mazzoffee: have you looked at the valco baby snap ultra? Pretty sure you can opt for all terrain tires..

cluttersmart: Yes! Just this week. We ended up ordering a cameleon. I couldnt convince hubby on the alta wheels and it does have everything else we want. I spoke to people about whether or not they feel they need their stroller to fold in one with the seat and most said they haven’t thought about it/not an issue either way so that helped that part. I also like how the cameleon folds standing up into a triangle type thing and when I played with it it didn’t seem to be an issue that it didn’t clip together, actually makes it easier to unfold. We also decided to buy a breezy canopy as extra for summer when we will want her to have ventilation as one thing bugaboo is missing that most other strollers seem to have is the extendable mesh panels.
It is SUCH a hard decision isn’t it?
itsssmeee83: Thanks for the suggestion, We have bought ours now. But we had looked at valco baby before and something about them we just weren’t fans of. Didn’t seem as… solid perhaps?

mazzoffee: OH yay! Congrats! Thanks for the update.
WE are really leaning towards the chameleon now as well. My biggest hang up now is the basket. It is completely inaccessible with the bassinet attached and that sort of drives me nuts. However, I’m feeling like the rest of the pros outweigh that part.
What colour did you go with?

I’m late to this but we chose the UPPAbaby Cruz in Georgie for our soon-to-arrive. Though I haven’t used it yet, I demo’d a LOT of different strollers early in pregnancy so I could get a feel for which one just felt right for me and what I’ll be using it for.
It’s so personal… I love the basket, the ease of folding, weight and fact that baby can face you or away with the Cruz. My biggest use for the stroller will be walking to our local plaza/grocery store (10 mins of sidewalk) or along other groomed pathways. I don’t need a jogger and if we were hiking or something, I’d use the baby carrier instead.
All said, I think the Bugaboo is more versatile, but the cost… yeow….. Just couldn’t justify it!
I don’t think you can go wrong either way though 🙂

cluttersmart: Originally I ordered the petrol blue but called and changed to the off white just yesterday. My ideal would have been navy but it is ridiculous that they charge like $200 more JUST for a damn colour so that was not going to happen.
And I agree danier. The cost is ridiculous which is why we werent looking at it at first. But then the Alta was only going to cost us $250 less by the time you buy the bassinet too. And several of the ‘cheaper’ brands seem cheaper, as you can get it for say $6/700 but then need to pay between $200-300 extra for the bassinet also and none ticked all our boxes so we caved haha.
