Does anyone own the Bugaboo fox? Or the Turtle (car seat)? I’ve been looking at the Fox online and love it, it seems to have everything I want. However, the closest store that carries Bugaboo is 4 hours away, so I haven’t seen/tried it in person.
If you have one or tried one at a store, what did you think?

eastcoastbee28 : I have the chameleon with a Peg Perego car seat. My baby is still in utero so I’m unsure how I like it other than testing it out in the house but it came secondhand from my cousin and she loved it.

eastcoastbee28 : they carry them in buy buy baby, you don’t have one close to you? I’ve heard good things about the bee but we went with uppababy for our DS and love it.

Save your money. It’s the worst of the Bugaboo strollers by far. I’ve owned almost all of them. Find a Buffalo or Donkey, SO much better than the Fox. You could also look at the Uppababy Vista or the Silvercross Wave, both are on par with the Bugaboo brand. I owned a Vista and loved it. Valco Snap, Bumbleride Era, and Nuna (Demi Grow or Mixx2) are also worth a look.

runningmama : can I ask what you don’t like about it? I had the cameleon 3 and bee 3 for my lb and was looking at getting the fox this time. I like the bigger basket and 1 piece fold that the fox offers but is it not all that?
eastcoastbee28 : I have tried the fox in store and love it, I had a Cameleon for my son and it was brilliant so will probably have that again if the fox isn’t so great! Have you looked at those?

Duckybod : I personally feel the textiles are not as good and the frame feels plasticky. The push is also just meh in comparison. I suggest joining the New England Stroller Talk group on Facebook. Super helpful. I had a Cam 3 which was decent but no comparison to the Donkey or Buffalo!

runningmama : thanks for the feedback, I was also considering the Cameleon of the donkey, but like Duckybod I liked the 1 piece fold and bigger basket. I live in Canada on the east coast, and there aren’t any baby stores near me except Babies R US so I’ve been browsing online only so far.
Do you find the Donkey is too wide to fit through normal doorways? I will also be putting the stroller in the car a lot, I don’t take public transportation (there isn’t really much where I live). I do like that it can transition to a double stroller!

I clicked on this wondering if it was a baby name post and I am relieved to see it is not.
