There are flowers growers at all the Farmer’s Markets in the Lower Mainland. I would go on their website and contact some of the growers now to see what might be available for your summer wedding.

Here is a locator for all the farmer’s markets:

This site covers all the Vancouver markets:

This wholesale market is only open to florists, but they do have various growers featured on their website:

There’s a farm in Langley, I can’t remember the name and probably wouldn’t recognize it myself by searching.  However, the flowers were great and the prices were fantastic!  I think it was like $1, maybe $2 a stem for picasso calla lillies and all of the flower shops wanted at least $5/stem!

I don’t know how far out from Vancouver you’re looking for, but there’s a place called Eighteen Acres in Abbotsford.  They have beautiful flowers.

@adnama:  There’s a place right at 192nd st and 32nd ave that focuses mostly on roses but has lots of other stuff as well. The name totally escapes me at the moment but I got my flowers there for less than 450 for everything.  I STILL swing by all the time just to pick up whatevers cheap to play around with since it’s right by my house.  If I ever actually take note of the name I’ll pm you.
