I’m thinking about doing this one:

I’m not sure what the difference is between the 2, but this one is 3x a week for 4 weeks for $150. I work downtown, so it’s really convenient- the studio is off of Mich Ave. I’m not in terrible shape, but I’m not in great shape- so I’m sure I’ll make a fool of myself but oh well :).

You know I’m not sure if this is helpful, because I haven’t tried Bulldog Bootcamp myself, but I used to run by them regularly in the early morning in the parks by the Lincoln Park Zoo… From what I can tell they really just make you run in formation and do various drills, including push-ups and sit-ups… It doesn’t seem like they get in your face and yell or anything but I think they do try to encourage and motivate you…

If it helps I think you get placed in a group depending on your fitness level so you should be able to do it if you’re honest about your fitness level… I say give it a try… it will be hard but sometimes you need someone to kick your ass a little to get in shape… (I know I do…)…

Hello ladies. I actually have done the bulldog bootcamp last year for 12 weeks. I am currently doing a bridal bootcamp in the burbs and it is definately not as hard as Bulldog. Bulldog was very hard, but that is what I was looking for; someone to push me!!! There is no talking and you have to wear the tshirt or you get extra pushups. The first class is testing. How many situps and pushups you can do in a minute and a timed mile. It definately whipped me into shape. I would say if you are looking for that, someone to whip your butt into shape and tell you what to do, then sign up!! It is one hour and you work the entire time. I do remember the coach saying that thursday were the hardest so you would remember the coach over the weekend!!!

HI…sorry for the delay!! My experience prior to the bootcamp was 2 marathons and a bunch of halfs. So, for me the running was easy. But, it was a challenge for me with all the lunges and other exercises I have never done.  You really do what you can. I just remember being really sore the first couple of weeks. I signed up through chicago sport and social club and it was cheaper. If you have not signed up yet, go to chicago sport and social club website and see if you can sign up through there. The t shirt is included in the fee. Let me know if you need anything else. I have to remind myself to check this site every day!!! when is your wedding date?
