Awww, ladies, thanks for the love! Sorry that I’m not replying to everyone individually, but I really appreciate the positive feedback. Our maternity shoot was so much fun, and I recommend having one if you haven’t already.

Everyone here looks amazing!

Question for everyone posting their bump pics – when you take the pic, do you suck in your stomach at all?   I keep saying i have no real bump yet cuz when i suck in my stomach, there is barely anything there. i feel like if it was a baby, then it wouldn’t be able to be sucked in!   Just want to compare with what everyone else is doing?

i was also amazed by someone else i know who sucked her stomach in at like 8 months and you see could a noticable difference in her bump size!

@dynamic_duo: Kinda hurts to suck it in at this point. I was so used to sucking it in before getting pregnant that I believe I still did that until maybe month 4? Also, I didn’t tell work until 4 months, so I needed to keep it hidden as much as possible. Then I had to teach myself it’s ok not to bother anymore. Feels better not to.

@pregnantbee:, it kinda hurts, and at this point it doesn’t make much of a difference. And I’ve never had washboard abs or anything, so I’ve always sucked it in…it’s really quite freeing to just…let it go.

@dynamic_duo:  Yeah, my grandmother always trained me to suck in my gut.  I’ve always been thin, so at the beginning I would do it all the time out of habit, but I dont do it now.  Although I just stood up and tried, just to see what would happen, and there’s definitely a very noticable difference.  Even at 28 weeks, I can totally suck it in…some.

@dynamic_duo:  For me, at this point there is NO sucking in! Even when I try you couldn’t tell the difference other than the intense concentrated look on my face hahaha!

thanks for those who answered my question…..i never imagined it would hurt! i guess i will have to stop at some point.  i was also wondering because now at 16 weeks when i suck it in, i can maybe see the slight beginnings of a bump. But when i don’t suck, i could pass it off as a nice round bump, so i am not sure what to make of that, lol.
