When you say bumps are you talking about sizing beads that go on the inside of your ring?

If you’re going to wear it loose, I say speed bumps so you are less likely to lose it. Euro shanks don’t help with that.

nelliemade :  The bumps in the band are called sizing beads, and although they probably will keep your ring upright, they’re more for making your ring feel tighter around the base of your finger (esp if you have larger knuckles). The euroshank will balance the ring so that it doesn’t spin, I’d go with a euroshank over sizing beads. My engagment ring has a euroshank and it does a pretty good job of preventing it from spinning, plus I find it a lot more comfortable than the sizing beads.

I had sizing beads put in because mine was slightly too big. It was easier to do than resize the whole ring and it helps with the spinning because it’s a little top heavy.  They were a little awkward at first but now I don’t notice them.

Euroshank bands (which is what I have) tend to help with spinning, not sliding off your finger. If you’re concerned about it sliding off, go with the beads.
