I purched $182 worth of Gerber Daisies for a wedding and the entire bouquet was wilted and the wrong color. The boutiniers were distorted and definitely not presentable and out of 31 Gerber Daisies I had to throw 16 of them away because they were moldy or the flower heads had fallen off. My flowers were delivered on friday afternoon and I tried to call first thing Saturday morning with no response. So I went on the website and found their return policy and followed it to the letter. Aparently I was 10 hours late on this so they simply replied like this:
Do you have an issue with that order or are you referring to an order by another company by any chance ?
I have to point out though that our policies require notification in form of digital images within 12 hours of delivery. The first e-mail we received was over 24 hours after arrival. IF indeed something was wrong with flowers we sent (again, 534936989349 is not one of our numbers) we would have needed an e-mail within 12 hours, better yet, within hours because we could have fixed the problem. The flowers we shipped were delivered on Friday, July 20 at 12:42 !
They also claimed they could not find my order however I gave them the order number provided in my confirmation email. Some may get great service from this company and everyone makes mistakes however my experience proves that they are not willing to own up to the responsibility of theirs and correct the problem. How would you feel if your wedding flowers were ruined and the company would not take responsibility?
