Yay! Color twin… and almost date twin too! (We’re debating between September 29, 2012 and October 5, 2012) Planning on having our wedding at a beautiful winery and love the burgandy/burnt orage theme. We were thinking of using a navy blue as a minor accent color… or maybe a dark green. I’m excited to hear that someone else has this color scheme in mind and other people’s suggestions.

I think adding a brighter accent color like a butter cream would be really pretty! Navy is really pretty but it might make everything too dark.  Depends on your ceremony and reception location.  Navy with those would be really romantic though! 🙂

We are doing fall colors also…a deep apple/cranberry red and pumpkin orange with some golden yellows as well. So I’m not sure how close my cranberry is to your burgundy. I just didn’t want fire engine red so it’s deeper than that.

We got ivory table cloths and have deep red napkins in the middle to add to the centerpieces and deep red sashes for the chair covers. Our centerpieces are fishbowl vases with a wreath of fall berries/leaves around the base, deep red and amber vase gems and floating candles. The favors are mini pumpkins, and the rest of the hall will be filled with cornecopias and fall leaves and gems, etc. The head table is the only thing that’s different and it will be white pumpkins with brown/gold metallic sparkle on the leaves. That was the florist’s idea and i think it’ll add something different overall. We’re also doing Oktoberfest for the beer, and the ladies have fall flowers with deep red gerber daisies, sunflowers, and wheat.

I LOVE fall themes. Smile

@FutureMrs86: That’s pretty much what we’re going for – hence the tons of candles and deep, rich colors! Even if it screams ‘FALL!’ I don’t care. I love fall.
