Hello Fellow Milwaukee Area Bees!!!
So I know it is a funny name (It used to be Derry Hagerty’s) but this reception venue is awesome!! It is not fancy but if you are looking for a semi-casual, family style wedding they are the place!
We just officially booked them for our wedding next February. There is no room charge and they will work ridiculously hard to work within your budget.
This venue is so accommodating and really just wants you to have a really fun and lovely wedding. Their banquet hall is huge and their food is great!
If you are looking for budget friendly but still nice venue, definitely check out Burke’s!
Side Note: I do not work for them. I just had my first official meeting with them last night and had so much fun!

@BrewCityBRIDE2014: I am still in the process of finding a reception venue in MKE. I looked at the website and didn’t see anything in regards to weddings or rentals. Is there a place online that I can get more information?
We will have around 180 people, not sure if they can accomodate that many.
How did you find them? I have never heard of them and I have been looking for venues for about a month now.

@BrewCityBRIDE2014: Did you happen to take any pictures while you were there that you can share?

@pinksprinkles: It used to be Derry Hagerty’s. It is on N52nd and Bluemound. They are just under new management but if you call there and ask for Eric (the Manager). You can make an appointment to see the Banquet rooms.
Or go there any Friday during Lent for the fishfry and they have the area open.
@LeRenard: I don’t yet but we’ll be going back soon to get pictures for decorating purposes.

@BrewCityBRIDE2014: Gotcha. I sent an e-mail out to them asking for more information and haven’t gotten a response yet. Perhaps I’ll try calling them.

I would definitely call them instead of sending an email. My (overwhelming) FStepMIL emailed them about our rehearsal dinner (yea we’re not getting married for almost a yearLOL) and she never received a response.
